PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The weekend we have waited for too long is here! Sunshine and temperatures in the 50’s will be easy to get used to. We get to enjoy mild conditions and the hardly white snow gets to melt.

The weather takes another fairly dramatic turn next week with a return to same-old-same-old. By Monday, temperatures only reach the 30’s and by Tuesday and Wednesday slightly cooler and much colder after that.

The other change centers on another chance of snow on the Tuesday night, Wednesday timetable. Of course, this far out, many modifications are possible, but the cold air at least seems definite. In fact, the polar vortex gets rotating again, spinning frigid temperatures back into the area by the middle and end of the week. And that brings us back to today – enjoy it.
