PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — People across our region are preparing for the 11th storm this season, which is expected to hit the Philadelphia region late Wednesday into Thursday.
Anthony Cummings talked with us at the Wawa off of Roosevelt Boulevard in Mayfair Wednesday morning.
He, like many others, is sick of the snow.
“I’m prepared,” said Cummings, “I’m prepared to move to Florida.”
Before the sun rose, Tiffany Davis was stopping for gas.
She wanted a full tank to get her through Thursday’s winter mess.
“If I do have to get out, then I’ll be able to get out,” said Davis. “If not, then I’m safe. Just preparing a little early, better to be safe than sorry!”
People have been scrambling to get snow and ice supplies. Stores are trying to keep up with demand.
There are many that are either low, or have run out of this winter’s gold — rock salt.
Many stores say it’s a good idea to call ahead.
