Celebrity Cruises, Uber Handing Out Goodie Bags To 100 Lucky Riders On Friday
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – After braving multiple polar vortexes, a cruise in the tropics is sounding mighty inviting to many people in the Philadelphia area.
On Friday, 100 lucky Uber riders can get a taste of that potential vacation via goody bags, courtesy of Celebrity Cruises. The bags -- which are filled with things like neck pillows, hand sanitizer and a $15 Uber coupon towards a future ride -- will be placed in select Uber cars and SUVs.
The freebies are part of Celebrity Cruise's "Random Acts of Modern Luxury," which is meant to promote the company's 1-2-3 Go! special deal. But even if there's no cruise vacation in your immediate future, a free gift in this frigid weather is a welcome pick-me-up.
