PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – CBS 3 at the scene as a water main break floods the streets in Wynnefield.
A 20-inch main ruptured shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday at 57th Street and Wynnefield Avenue.
A Philadelphia Water Department spokesperson says crews have repaired the main, but are still cleaning up.
They are using salt to break up ice on the road.
It’s unclear if cold weather played a role in the break.
