2 Charged In Death Of Woman Found In Pennsylvania Preserve

LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) — Two Pennsylvania men have been charged in the slaying of a woman whose body was found in a central Pennsylvania wildlife preserve.

Twenty-one-year-old Adam Lynch of Reading and 19-year-old Ryan Schannauer of Wyomissing are charged in Lancaster County with homicide, arson, abuse of a corpse and conspiracy.

They are charged in the death of 23-year-old Ashley Kline of Robesonia, whose body was found Sunday afternoon at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area.

State police allege that the two picked Kline up from home Dec. 30 and drove to the area, but a struggle ensued after they emerged from the car. Police said she was stabbed multiple times, doused with gasoline and set afire.

Listed numbers for Lynch and Schannauer couldn't be found Thursday; it's unclear whether they have attorneys.
