PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Eagles might be on the lookout for their next quarterback coach.

According to a report from ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Detroit Lions plan to hire Eagles QB coach Bill Lazor as the team’s new offensive coordinator. The Lions will reportedly hire Jim Caldwell to be the team’s new head coach.

It’s unlikely Lazor will be confirmed as OC before Caldwell is officially hired as head coach.

Lazor joined the Eagles in 2013 after Chip Kelly was hired.

Though Kelly is the mastermind of the Eagles offense, Lazor deserves at least some credit for the record-setting season second year QB Nick Foles had in 2013.
