Police: Teen Who Admits To Smoking Marijuana Passes Out, Falls Down While Talking To Officers

UPPER MACUNGIE Twp., (CBS) – Upper Macungie Township Police say officers caught four teens allegedly smoking marijuana Saturday night, and one later had to be taken to the hospital.

At 9:21 p.m., police say officers found four males in Upper Macungie Township Park at the 1600 block of Route 100.

Upon speaking to the males, police say an officer noticed the odor of marijuana.  Police say the entire group admitted to smoking the marijuana in the park and all four allegedly showed signs of intoxication.

While officers were talking to the group, police say one of the teens, identified as 18-year-old Michael Lewis, passed out and fell down. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Police say Mihn Tang, 18, was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Public Drunkenness, and Trespassing.

Daniel Ventura, 18, was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia, Public Drunkenness, and Trespassing.

Lewis and Tyler Specht, 18, were both charged with Public Drunkenness and Trespassing.

Police say all charges were filed with District Court 31-3-02 in Allentown.
