Allen Iverson Hopes The Cowboys Win Sunday
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - His number will be retired in Philadelphia this Spring, but Allen Iverson will be cheering for the Cowboys this winter.
Iverson posted on his Twitter account, "hope my cowboys win this weekend, we need it bad."
The Cowboys play Washington at 1pm, if they win the game, they force a week 17 showdown with the Eagles for the NFC East title. If they lose the game, and the Eagles beat the Bears, the Cowboys are assured that they cannot get a postseason birth.
Iverson often wore the gear of non-Philadelphia teams while he played for the Sixers, including a Yankees hat and a Celtics jersey.
