Penn State Football Lands Top Recruit Holley

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – While rumors swirl that head coach Bill O'Brien is considering leaving his Penn State coaching job for an NFL coaching job, Penn State landed one of the top defensive tackle recruits in the nation today, Thomas Holley.

The 6'4", 303 pound defensive tackle from Brooklyn, NY (Lincoln High School) is ranked as the 7th best defensive tackle in the nation according to ESPN.

Holley ultimately chose Penn State over Florida, but also received offers from schools like Ohio State, Alabama, Baylor, and Notre Dame, among other programs. Basically, Holley had his pick of any where he wanted to go, and he chose Happy Valley.

Holley's is Penn State's 17th commit for the 2014 class. According to ESPN, Penn State now has the 26th best recruiting class in the nation.
