UPDATE: $5,000 Reward Offered In 7-Eleven Robbery/Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A convenience store employee was shot during a robbery in Philadelphia early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened shortly after 4 a.m. at a 7-Eleven located in the 1800 block of Stenton Avenue in the city's West Oak Lane section.

According to investigators, two armed suspects entered the store and announced a robbery. During the robbery, police say an employee was shot in the legs.

The suspects then ran out of the store and fled the scene in a car with tinted windows. Police say the car may have been a silver sedan.

The suspects are described as two black males in their late teens to early 20s, wearing black jackets and armed with a black handgun.

The employee was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects responsible for the robbery/shooting.
