Philadelphia Police Searching For Robbery Suspects Who Stole Clerk's Wedding Rings

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police in Philadelphia are searching for two men who robbed a convenience store and stole the clerk's wedding and engagement rings.

According to police, at 2:20 p.m. on December 9th, one of the suspects entered the Ariel Grocery at 2090 Pacific Street in Richmond.

That man acted as if he was going to make a purchase, and then the second suspect came into the store with a gun, which he pointed at the female clerk while demanding money.

The clerk gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money from the register and then one of the suspects took the woman's wedding and engagement rings.

A short time later, a customer entered the store and the suspects fled south on Amber Street towards Castor Avenue.

The first suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 25 years old. He is about 5'7" with a thin build and was wearing a black scarf covering his nose and mouth, a black Nike hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He has a tattoo of "AP" on his right hand and was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is also a black male between 20 and 25 and about 5'7". He also has a thin build and was wearing a red or orange hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black gloves.
