Evesham Police Seek Driver In Hit-And-Run That Left Man Seriously Injured

EVESHAM Twp., N.J., (CBS) – Evesham Township Police are asking for help from the public with an investigation into a hit-and-run accident that left a 33-year-old man seriously injured.

On Monday at 3:22 a.m., police responded to the area of the West Marlton Pike near Cropwell Road for an unconscious male lying in the roadway.

Police say the victim was discovered lying on the West Marlton Pike by a passer-by who called 911.

When officers arrived, the victim was semiconscious and suffering from a significant head injury. According to police, evidence at the scene indicated that the victim's condition was a result of being struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene.

The victim was transported to Cooper Hospital for treatment.
