MAPLE SHADE, NJ (CBS) – Police say a teen has been struck by a vehicle in Burlington County.
The accident happened when the teenage victim was crossing Main Street in Maple Shade around 9 p.m. to meet up with a relative.
An eyewitness tells CBS3 that the victim, who is reportedly 15-16 years old, was leaving a study group, possible a Bible study group, when he was struck.
The driver did remain at the scene.
The teen was transported to Cooper University Hospital with serious injuries.
