Suspects Wielding Assault Rifle Rob Hunting Park Beauty Supply Store

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Philadelphia Police Department is reaching out to the public for help finding the suspects responsible for robbing a Hunting Park beauty supply store.

On Nov. 27 around 6:05 p.m., two unknown males entered the Wild & Crazy Beauty Supply at 4326 N Broad Street.

The suspects had their hoods up and their faces covered and were armed with an AR15 style assault rifle.

One of the suspects pointed the rifle at a store employee and demanded they fill a dark colored bag with money from the register, while the second suspect acted as a lookout near the front door.

After taking an undetermined amount of cash, both suspects fled the store on foot.

The suspect carrying the rifle is described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s with a medium build. He had his face covered with a black neoprene ski mask and was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, black pants, an Armani Exchange belt and dark colored sneakers.

The second suspect is also a black male in his late teens or early 20s with a medium build. He was wearing an animal print mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt with Adidas and the logo in black on the front, dark colored pants and gray sneakers with bright red laces.

The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 215.686.TIPS (8477) immediately or text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847.
