Crews Discover 1 Person Dead Responding To North Philly Fire

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—Fire personnel responded to the scene of a fire on the 2300 block of Firth Street around 6:21 p.m. Friday night.

Once inside the burning home, crews discovered a male body in a second floor bedroom and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Fire crews found a fire alarm going off in the basement but the second floor smoke alarm was not working.
