Fire Rips Through Germantown Church

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A fire broke out at a church in the Germantown section Tuesday night.

The blaze was reported at about 9 p.m. at Victory Community Church, formerly the St. Francis of Assisi parish, in the 4800 block of Greene Street.

Officials say it took crews about a half hour to get the bulk of the fire knocked down.

No injuries were reported.
