PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Seattle Seahawks became Super Bowl favorites without even playing a game this weekend.
According to Bovada, the Seahawks are the new favorite to win the Super Bowl, at 3/1. The Broncos had been the previous favorite, atop the odds since the season began when they were co-favorites along with the 49ers. The Broncos odds dropped after their Sunday night loss to the Patriots, when they blew a 24-0 halftime lead and lost 34-31 in overtime. The Seahawks are 10-1, and have won six games in a row.
The Broncos are now 7/2, followed by the Patriots and the Saints at 13/2. The 49ers, once co-favorites to win it all, are now 14-1.
The Eagles are currently 33/1 to win the Super Bowl.
