Elderly Woman Attacked, Robbed In Point Breeze
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are investigating the robbery of an elderly woman in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia Sunday morning.
The incident happened just before 8 a.m. at 24th and Dickinson Streets near a church.
Police say the women had her purse stolen, then was brought into the church to be taken care of. There's no word yet on her condition.
"I can't even think of somebody doing that this time of the morning and they know people are on their way to church," neighbor Ronald Bright said.
Police don't have any suspects at this time.
