PLANNED PARENTHOOD SHOOTING: Standoff Ends; 1 Officer, 2 Civilians Dead

Police: 2 Shot In Allentown Drive-By

ALLENTOWN, Pa., (CBS) – Police say two men were hospitalized following a drive-by shooting early Monday morning in Allentown.

The incident happened at about 12:06 a.m. at the 200 block of N. 13th Street.

Allentown Police say a man, of Hatfield, Pa., was getting out a vehicle with friends when a gunman opened fire from inside a vehicle driving south on 13th Street.

The 24-year-old victim was shot in the face.  He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say a 27-year-old man of Collingswood, N.J., was also shot.  He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown and was treated for minor injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
