Masked Gunmen Strike Two Area Banks In Past Week

PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. (CBS) -- Police believe two bank robberies which happened within the last week may be related.
Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Wells Fargo on Schuylkill Road in Phoenixville, Chester County was robbed by three masked men with guns.
Surveillance video shows the suspects ordering customers to the ground, and demanding money from the teller.
Last Friday, the Wells Fargo in Bala Cynwyd was also robbed by three armed men wearing masks. They demanded money and ordered customers to lie on the floor.
The bandits collected the cell phones of employees and customers before running out with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The entire robbery was also caught on surveillance video.
Wells Fargo is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to call East Pikeland or Lower Merion Township Police.
