Police Seeks Public's Help Identifying Bala Cynwyd Bank Bandits; $10K Reward Offered

LOWER MERION, Pa. (CBS) -- Police in Lower Merion along with the FBI are asking for the public's help identifying the suspects of an armed bank robbery in Bala Cynwyd earlier this week. A reward of up to $10,000 is also being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the bandits.

According to police, three masked suspects entered the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 307 Levering Mill Road at about 11:15 a.m. Monday and announced a robbery.

Police say at least one of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The bandits seized an undisclosed amount of cash, before fleeing the scene through a rear door.

The three subjects are described as black males wearing ski masks, gloves, and dark clothing. They are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to contact call the FBI at 215-641-8910 or the Lower Merion Township Police Department at 610-649-1000; tipsters can remain anonymous.
