Woman Pushing Stroller Struck By Hit-Run Driver In Pottstown

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Police in Pottstown are searching for the driver who struck a woman pushing a baby carriage and then fled the scene.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Shoemaker Road and Route 100.

Police say the mother was taken to Pottstown Memorial Medical Center where she was treated for minor injuries. The baby was not hurt.

Authorities have not yet released a description of the striking vehicle.

No further details were available.
