Police: Suspect Wanted In Abduction, Assault Of Teen In Holmesburg

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect who they say abducted a 15-year-old girl and slapped her in the face.

The alleged incident happened at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the city's Holmesburg neighborhood.

According to police, the teen was forced into a vehicle in the 8700 block of Marsden Street and driven to the Delaware/ Linden Avenue boat ramp park, where she was physically assaulted. Police say the victim was later returned to her neighborhood by the suspect.  She ran home and reported the incident.

The suspect is described as a White male, 50- to 60-years-old, about 5'7" with a medium build, light complexion, clean shaven, with dirty brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, ripped navy blue jeans, black and white Nike sneakers.

The vehicle is described as a blue two-door older model vehicle with scratches on the side of vehicle and leopard covers on the front seats and steering wheel.
