Actor Akroyd Visits Philly To Promote His Vodka

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Actor and Comedian Dan Akroyd was in town this past week to sign bottles of his famous "Crystal Head" vodka.
Philadelphia is part of a ten city mini-tour that Akroyd is on to promote his award winning vodka.
"We're on the road always, we never let up. It's like watching a three year old on a playground swing. You never let up and you never take your eyes off the little baby and that's what we're doing here," Akroyd said.
Hundreds waited patiently in a line that extended well outside the Wine and Spirts shop at 20th and Market.
Many bought multiple bottles at the retail price of $49.99.
"I grew up watching his movies," this man, who bought two bottles, said. "They inspired me to make video games so I'm just thrilled to be here."
Akroyd's vodka also comes in a Rolling Stones gift pack that includes a two CD set of the Stones live in concert.
