Bethlehem Area School District Reports Suspicious Man Near Bus Stop

BETHLEHEM, Pa., (CBS) – The Bethlehem Area School District is reporting a suspicious man driving near students at a bus stop in Bethlehem Township.

As students were being dropped off near the intersection of Sculac Drive and Washington Street on Thursday, a man with a grey beard, in a smoky brown, older model Kia motioned for the students to come over to his vehicle, according to a safety alert on the school district’s website.

The school district says Bethlehem Township Police have been notified and will be providing additional patrols in this area.

“Please review safety precautions with your children and immediately report any suspicious activity to the police. Thank you for your attention to this important matter,” the school district said in the announcement.
