Phashion Phest Takes Over The Shops At Liberty Place
By Kim Glovas
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A Phashion Phest preview begins today at the Shops at Liberty Place in Center City.
The actual event is next Wednesday September 25th.
It’s the 20th year of Phashion Phest, according to founder Sharon Philips-Waxman.
The event features the latest trends in fashion, beauty and accessories.
“Each season in the fashion industry, they’ll say “Orange is the new black”, “red is the new black.” Another color that’s hot for the fall season. And so our graphic design agency came up with “20 is the New Black”, as a nod to our 20th anniversary celebration,” Philips-Waxman said.
Each day this week during the lunch hour, Phashion Phest will feature different designers and salons in the Rotunda.
Philips-Waxman says the actual event will include the same, with local student designers, food, spirits and more.
