PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – No idea what the *$#% "twerk" means?
You can now consult the Oxford Dictionaries Online to find out.
Yes, in addition to words like "cakepop," "jorts," "selfie" and "emoji," the dictionary has now added the word "twerk" to its contents.
According to Oxford, to "twerk" is to "dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance."
For further clarification, google "Miley Cyrus at the VMAs."
So, what else is new to the online dictionary? "Squee," "guac" and "babymoon" all made the cut, along with some, um, lesser-known newbies like "dappy" and "grats."
