Residents Evacuated In Center City High-Rise Fire
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Residents were evacuated as firefighters responded to a high-rise fire in Center City Friday night.
The fire was reported shortly before 8 p.m. in an electrical room on the 13th floor of a building at 15th and Market streets.
The fire has been placed under control.
No injuries were reported.
PECO says about 300 customers are without power as crews check out the electrical systems.
