BEACHWOOD, NJ (CBS) – Two people are dead following a shooting in Ocean County, NJ.

The shooting happened at 200 Compass Avenue in Beachwood around 1:43 a.m.

Police say two adult males, identified as 62-year-old Richard Quattrone and 56-year-old Kamran Ahmadimarandi, were found dead inside the residence. Kamran Ahmadimarandi has been identified as the brother in-law of Quattrone.

According to authorities, Richard Quattrone allegedly got into an argument with his wife, Fatemah Quattrone, which Ahmadimarandi was present for.

Richard Quattrone and Ahmadimarandi allegedly entered a bedroom, at which time authorities say Ahmadimarandi retrieved a 9 mm handgun and shot Quattrone twice, killing him.

An investigation revealed that after Ahmadimarandi shot Quattrone, he called 911 then turned the gun on himself.

Both victims are scheduled for autopsy later on Friday as the investigation continues.
