Suspect Sought In Armed Robbery Of Delaware Gas Station
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware are asking for the public's help to track down an armed suspect who robbed a gas station late Wednesday night.
The robbery happened at about 11:30 p.m. at the Shore Stop gas station on McKennans Church Road in Wilmington.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the store and brandished a long shotgun. The suspect demanded money from the 21-year-old male clerk, who turned over money from the cash register.
The suspect then ran out of the store.
The amount of cash was not immediately known.
The suspect is described as a heavyset black male, between 25-35 years-of-age and approximately 5'4".
