PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A vacant house, set for demolition, partially collapsed in West Philadelphia Thursday.

The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. at the 3600 block of Fairmount Avenue in the Mantua section.

No injuries were reported and there was no damage to the adjoining properties.

Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.

Ten residents of nearby homes were displaced before being allowed back in Thursday night. The Red Cross was on scene to assist them.
