3 Dead, 1 Critical In 3 Separate Shootings

By Al Novack

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Three people are dead, another is in critical condition after three separate shooting incidents in Philadelphia overnight.

The first shooting happened around 11 p.m. Monday on the 500-block of Creighton Street in West Philadelphia, where a 33-year-old man was shot once in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.

A few minutes later, on the 700-block of East Allegheny Avenue, near B Street, a 36-year-old man was shot in the side and pronounced dead in the street.

Then, just before 2 a.m., police responded to a shooting that they say grew out of a domestic situation on the 2800-block of Sebring Road in the city's far Northeast. Police say a man shot and killed a 19-year-old woman, then shot a 23-year-old man in the stomach. The victim is in critical condition at Aria Torresdale Hospital.

Philadelphia homicide detectives are investigating all three incidents. Police have no suspects so far.
