Motorcyclist Dies In Mercer County Accident Involving Vehicle

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – One person is dead after an accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle in Mercer County.

Police say that on Aug. 2 around 5:52 a.m., motorcyclist Jose (Nick) Santana, of Mays Landing, was heading northbound on Wrangleboro Road when a 2009 Toyota Corolla heading southbound and being driven by Karyan Israel, 59, made a left turn onto Consumer Square in front of Santana’s motorcycle.

Santana, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Israel, who is from Easton, was transported to AtlantiCare Medical Center – Mainland Campus with minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
