Food And Wine Festival Kicks Off In Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., (CBS) - A four day feast is underway at the Caesars properties in Atlantic City.
The 5th Annual Food and Wine Festival runs Thursday through Sunday and is expected to draw thousands of visitors.

Food, wine and spirit vendors as well as many other businesses in the treat-your-belly industry will have displays. There are also celebrity chef and entertainment events scheduled at all four Caesars Entertainment resorts and casinos – Caesars, Harrah's Resort, Showboat and Bally's, and the beach.
Celebrity chefs and experts include Robert Irvine, The Neelys, Rocco DiSpirito and Laurie Forster.
For Atlantic City, the Food and Wine Festival offers a chance to draw in the non-gaming crowd.
"Well I think like any other gaming jurisdiction we have the most complete package. We offer everything from great night life, great restaurants, fantastic entertainment," says Joe Giunta, VP of Caesars Food and Beverage.
