HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) – PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission have teamed up to get commuting information from drivers.

The organizations are asking drivers to take an online survey which will help them find out how commuting information such as travel times, traffic delay warnings and weather conditions affects the trip.

“We’re looking to find out what users expect from traveler information,” explains PennDOT spokeswoman Erin Waters-Trasatt. “[We want to know] how they use it, whether it affects their driving habits and any information that we can get to improve the services that we have as well as help shape the future of what traveler information could be in Pennsylvania.”
