Video: Nationals Home Run Drills Phillies Fan In The Head

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies were denied their fourth straight win on Wednesday night, losing 5-1 to the Washington Nationals. Cliff Lee, who has been one of the brightest spots this year for the Phillies, allowed four home runs.

Overall, it was a pretty disappointing night to be a Phillies fan. For one man, it was a little bit worse.

Anthony Rendon of the Nationals hit a long fly ball to left field. When it became clear that it was going to end up in the stands, a few fans got ready to catch the ball. One gentleman, instead of catching the ball in his hands, ended up catching it with his forehead.

This would be a case where injury is added to insult. We hope the fan is feeling alright.
