Philadelphia Gets Federal Grant For Firefighters, Equipment
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia's firefighting efforts are getting a little help from Washington.
U.S. Sen. Bob Casey said Thursday the city government will be getting $16 million to retrain or hire firefighters and $2 million to buy equipment.
Casey says the money's coming from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
