Phillies Look For Second Straight Win In Pittsburgh

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After snapping Pittsburgh's nine-game winning streak on Tuesday night, the Phillies will look to make it two straight victories over the Pirates on Wednesday night.
The Phillies picked up a 3-1 win in this series opener, riding strong pitching from Jonathan Pettibone and the bullpen to victory. Pettibone went 5 2/3 strong innings to improve to 4-3 on the season.
John Lannan will get the start on Wednesday. The left-hander is 1-2 with a 4.83 ERA. Last time out, he picked up his first win as a Phillie, pitching seven strong innings in a 16-1 win in Los Angeles.
In his career, Lannan hasn't had a whole lot of success against Pittsburgh. In nine career starts he is 1-4, with a 4.53 ERA.
The Pirates will go with left-hander Jeff Locke. He is one of the big reasons why this Pirate team in 20 games over .500. Locke is 7-1 this season with a 2.06 ERA. He made one start this season against the Phillies, pitching six shutout innings at Citizens Bank Park back on April 23rd, picking up a 2-0 win.
