SEPTA Bus Hits Car, Police Find 3 Guns On Woman

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police sources say a woman was found to have three guns on her after a SEPTA bus hit the vehicle she was occupying.

The accident happened near 44th and Chestnut.

Police sources say a SEPTA bus driver hit a car into a pole carrying two adults and a 4-year-old child. Eyewitness News is told the 4-year-old was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Sources say the child suffered lacerations to the face and is expected to be okay. It's what police discovered on the female passenger that is concerning.

Police sources say the woman had three guns on her, including a semi-automatic tec 9.

Sources also say they found alleged marijuana and pockets of heroin, which hasn't been tested.

As for the SEPTA bus driver, he is ok, according to officials from SEPTA. They tell Eyewitness News the Route 125 bus had just finished its run. There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident.
