Body ID'd As That Of Missing South Jersey Woman

BLACKWOOD, NJ (CBS) – Police have confirmed the identity of a body found off of Route 42 in Camden County, NJ on Monday.

Officials say dental records were used to identify the victim as 59-year-old Carol Reiff, of Blackwood, who was reported missing on Friday, June 21.

An autopsy performed on Monday night was unable to determine the cause of death due to decay.

While the Medical Examiner's Office hasn't ruled Reiff's death a homicide, police consider the investigation a criminal one.

Officials are offering a $1,000 reward for information on Reiff's cause of death. Anyone with information on this woman's death is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office at (856) 225-8653 or Gloucester Township Police at (856) 228-4500.

Information may also be emailed to ccpotips@ccprosecutor.org or sent anonymously to the GTPD Anonymous Crime Tip Line: 856-842-5560.
