PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities say a 12-year-old girl was injured Saturday morning when a man fell through the roof of an apartment building in the Bustleton section of Philadelphia.

This occurred around 11 a.m. at the Krewstown Park Apartments located on the 8800 block of Krewstown Road.

According to authroties, a 38-year-old man was replacing segments of the roof when he fell through into an apartment and landed on the couch.

Parts of the roof struck the girl who was nearby. She was taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.. The man was not injured.

The owner of the contracting roof company, 60-year-old John Paul Kravchak, told police he was the one who fell through the roof. That turned out to be untrue, and Kravchak was reportedly arrested for giving the false report.
