Emergency Crews Respond To HAZMAT Situation At Rowan University
GLASSBORO, N.J., (CBS) – Emergency crews responded to a HAZMAT situation at Rowan University in Glassboro Wednesday evening.
Officials say firefighters were called out at about 5:30 p.m. at the 200 block of Meditation Walk.
Chopper 3 HD was over the scene.
A school spokeswoman says a student was conducting an experiment in the chemistry lab when two chemicals had a reaction that set off an alarm.
The building was evacuated and the spokeswoman says there are no injuries to report and no damage to the building.
