Dom Giordano Speaks To Nazi-Naming Dad Who Wore Nazi Uniform To Child Custody Hearing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – WPHT’s Dom Giordano spoke with self-described Nazi Heath Campbell, after he wore a Nazi uniform to a child custody hearing for his fourth child, Hons Heinrich.
Campbell, of New Jersey, made headlines when a supermarket refused to write his other son’s name, Adolf Hitler, on a birthday cake. He named his two other children JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie.
The state ultimately took custody of his children. Campbell and his wife are now separated.
On Monday, Campbell and a female member of his group, Hitler’s Order, wore Nazi uniforms to the hearing.
Giordano asked him about what he wore.
“I call it my good luck uniform,” said Campbell. “I wore a Nazi uniform, correct. I am who I am. I don’t do hate crimes, I don’t do anything. I haven’t done any crime. Everybody wears what they want in the world, I was comfortable when I wore it.”
Giordano asked Campbell what he was thinking wearing the uniform into court.
“Well they already know I am a Nazi, I mean come on,” said Campbell. “They wear what they like, I wear what I like.”
“When you say you’re a Nazi, Heath, you realize how offensive of course it is to a lot of people,” said Giordano. “So what’s the defense at that when it offends so many people to see you dressed in that matter?”
“You’ve got to look within the inside, not within the outside,” said Campbell.
Giordano also asked Campbell about his brand of Nazism and his order.
“Its about family life, raising my children,” said Campbell. “Having a good life, having a family. Being left alone, you now what I mean? Walking around peacefully.”
Campbell’s next court date is scheduled for the end of June.
“I want my children, I love them with all my heart and soul,” said Campbell.
