Police Search For Home Invasion Suspect Who Posed As A Postal Worker In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a home invasion who posed as a postal worker in Northeast Philadelphia on Tuesday.
The incident happened at about 9 a.m. on the 2800 block of Saxton Road.
Eyewitness News is told the suspect knocked on the door of a home pretending to be a postal service employee.
When a man inside the home opened the door, the suspect allegedly pulled a gun on the victim.
There was a scuffle between the two, and the suspect fled without taking anything.
The victim was taken to Aria Health Torresdale Campus for cuts to his head.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 6'3", wearing a blue postal service shirt and pants with black shoes and glasses.
Northeast Detectives are investigating the incident.
