PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The NFL has officially moved the 2014 NFL Draft to May 8th-10th, the league announced on Tuesday. The move pushes the Draft back about two weeks.

“The decision was made after discussions with club personnel and key NFL business partners. No decision has been made regarding the dates of the NFL Draft in 2015 and beyond. A variety of alternatives are being explored, teams were told, including holding the draft at Radio City or at other locations, either in the New York area or in other cities,” a statement from the league said.

The move was rumored last week, and confirmed today.

There had been rumors that the NFL Combine would move back along with the Draft, but that will not happen in 2014. The 2014 NFL Combine will take place February 18th until the 25th.
