Worker Dies After Concrete Barrier Falls In Camden County

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) – Police have identified the man who was killed after a wall fell on him in Camden County.

The incident happened at about 8 a.m. Friday morning on the 2200 block of Ephraim Ave at Harris Camden Terminal.

According to police, an employee, identified as 42-year-old Keith Rainer of Camden, was injured after a concrete barrier was pushed over by a front-end loader and fell on him.

Police say another worker used a forklift to pull Rainer from underneath of the slab.

Rainer was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 8:29 a.m.

Police believe the incident was an industrial accident. They are still investigating.
