2 Sought In Robbery Of Wawa In Delaware

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a Wawa in Delaware Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 5 a.m. at the Wawa located at 601 Ogletown Road in Newark.

Police say two unknown males entered the convenience store with bandanas hiding their faces and implied they had a weapon.

Authorities say the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash after demanding money from the store clerk.

They were last seen on foot going east towards Marrows Road.

Both suspects have been described as 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7, black males.

The first suspect had on a navy colored hooded sweatshirt that had green/yellow letters, with the hood up, a light-colored bandana over his face, white gloves, light-colored pants and white shoes.

The second suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red/white design on the front, with the hood up, a dark-colored bandana over his face, black gloves, blue jeans, white shoes and a black baseball cap with a white logo on the front. This suspect also had a blue Adidas duffel bag.

No injuries have been reported.
