1 Dead, 1 Hospitalized In Port Richmond Double Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One man is dead and another man is hospitalized following a double shooting in Port Richmond Friday night.

The incident happened at about 6 p.m. at Amber and Ann Streets.

Philadelphia Police say a 22-year-old man was shot once in the head.  He was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 28-year-old man was shot once in the left shoulder.  He was also transported to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say two men are in custody and weapons were recovered at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate.
