Not Much Concensus For Eagles In Mock Drafts

By Spike Eskin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Quarterback, offensive lineman, defensive tackle, linebacker, cornerback. The Eagles could use players at every one of those positions. Perhaps that's why it's so difficult to figure out who they're going to select with the fourth pick in next week's NFL Draft.

Mock drafts from around the country don't seem to agree on the direction the Eagles will go with the pick, and neither Howie Roseman nor Chip Kelly have given many clues either. Kelly said on Tuesday that he doesn't believe there is a "can't miss" player at any position in this year's draft. Howie Roseman said the team won't reach because of need at the fourth pick, which could indicate they're open to a trade.

Here's who writers around the country currently have the Eagles selecting if they stay at #4:

Rob Rang of CBS Sports: Geno Smith, QB West Virginia

Dane Brugler of CBS Sports: Geno Smith, QB West Virginia

Pat Kirwan of CBS Sports: Dion Jordan, LB Oregon

Pete Prisco of CBS Sports: Star Lotulelei, DT Utah

Russ Lande of National Football Post: Barkevious Mingo, LB LSU

Todd McShay of ESPN: Star Lotulelei, DT Utah

Mel Kiper of ESPN: Geno Smith, QB West Virginia

Don Banks of Sports Illustrated: Luke Joeckel, OT Texas A&M

Charles Davis of NFL.COM: Dee Milliner, CB Alabama

Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.COM: Geno Smith, QB West Virginia

Buck Brooks of NFL.COM: Luke Joeckel, OT Texas A&M

Akbar Gbajabiamila of NFL.COM: Luke Joeckel, OT Texas A&M

Peter Schrager of Fox Sports: Dion Jordan, LB Oregon

Matthew Fairburn of SB Nation: Geno Smith, QB West Virginia
