Gov. Corbett Orders Pennsylvania Flags Be Lowered To Half-Staff

HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) – Gov. Corbett has ordered Pennsylvania’s flags be lowered to half-staff in the wake of the explosions at the Boston Marathon.

Earlier on Tuesday, President Obama also ordered all U.S. flags lowered at government buildings across the nation out of respect for the victims.

“On behalf of all the people of Pennsylvania, our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Boston and all the victims of this horrific act of violence,’’ Corbett said.

Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset on Saturday, April 20, 2013.
